If you’re anything like me, you’re going to want to incorporate Valentine’s Day into every aspect of the day. What better way then to take all the candy and treats and do some math!
Buy a large box/bag of conversation hearts, or another themed candy or multi-colored treat. Each student will get at least 12 hearts in a bag or cup (older kids may can get more for more of a challenge). Then, give students a blank graph – I made the one that is pictured (Click below for a pdf of the worksheet)! Students can then separate their hearts by color, count how many they have of each color, and graph their results. When they’re done it’s time to eat!
