I was obsessed with this liberty tee from Free People as soon as I spotted it online. So, as a little grad gift to myself I bought it (full price – yikes!) and I could not be happier.
I hope everyone had a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend! This is the first year that my family and I haven’t spent this weekend down the shore. It’s tough since we’re beach lovers and most importantly because it’s another reminder that my beautiful grandma is no longer with us.
I do want to say thank you to service men and women past and present who risk their lives to protect ours. America is a beautiful place to live and I am grateful for it each and every day.
Now, the clothes:
One of our senior week activities was attending a Phillies game! It was a beautiful day/night and totally perfect for a baseball game – except when it got late and a cold wind was gusting through the stadium. Either way – us girls and a few of our other friends all went together and we had a great time. We’re all Yankees fans though (even Juliana – she just borrowed that shirt from her roommate), so we went neutral with our outfits. I of course had to take this opportunity to wear my newest Rowan hat. I also finally broke out this super soft, mesh detailed tshirt from Gap that I am in love with. You know that I was thinking the mesh was super sporty and appropriate for a game – I’m seriously so lame.
Tshirt – Gap; Boyfriend Jeans – American Eagle; Bag – Francesca’s; Sneakers – Topshop via Nordstrom; Sweatshirt/Cardigan – Billabong via PacSun
My apologies for the lack of posts the last month.. It’s been such a whirlwind lately. On top of completing seminar papers and projects, I was preparing for graduation, working, and trying to take in the last few weeks of college in the best way possible.
Although I only “fake” graduated (I’ll be student teaching in the Fall), I am still feeling the same emotions as my roommates and friends. How did four years go by so quickly? How do we move on from here? It’s incredible how many memories we’ve all made in such a short time. I especially am thankful for how this year ended. I literally couldn’t be happier that I am in a place where I feel myself again, surrounded only by those who make me feel my best.
We’re all moving on to a new chapter of our lives, one where we no longer get to live together and share experiences with one another each day. However, I’m fully confident in the fact that we all have such a desire to remain in each other’s lives. I truly believe that this next chapter will be our best one yet. I’m so proud of my friends and their accomplishments. We’re all on our way to doing big, big things.
I wish the entire class of 2014 the best of luck!! We did it!
