I’ve been spending a lot of time in Asbury lately, and this past Saturday was no exception. Spotted this killer wall walking to the Stone Pony for a concert and could not resist taking a few pics!

Top – Free People, Shorts – Urban, Sunnies – AEO, Bag – Nine West, Shoes – Birkenstock

I was obsessed with this liberty tee from Free People as soon as I spotted it online. So, as a little grad gift to myself I bought it (full price – yikes!) and I could not be happier.

I hope everyone had a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend! This is the first year that my family and I haven’t spent this weekend down the shore. It’s tough since we’re beach lovers and most importantly because it’s another reminder that my beautiful grandma is no longer with us.

I do want to say thank you to service men and women past and present who risk their lives to protect ours. America is a beautiful place to live and I am grateful for it each and every day.

Now, the clothes:

Kimono Mania

Kimono’s are a super hot item to have in your spring/summer wardrobe this season. You can get one anywhere these days – from Forever 21 (where I got mine) to Free People, Topshop, Nasty Gal, etc. The options truly are endless. You can grab a cropped kimono or one that flows down to your ankles. With plenty of colors and patterns to choose from, the kimono is the perfect piece to throw on top of a plain tee/tank and some cut offs to complete a look that says “I didn’t try to look this good.”

Have any of you hopped on the kimono trend?

Literally just realized I didn’t cut off those stupid hanger straps – Please ignore those annoying little things!

Moto Obsessed

If only it were 15 degrees warmer today. I love this look with my new AE moto cropped pants that are already my favorite piece of my spring wardrobe – I wish they came in more colors! Paired with a casual white T and slip on sneaks, it’s the perfect casual/cool. Throw on a moto-inspired jacket to complete the look. Don’t you love the hint of cheetah print when the sleeves are rolled up on this jacket?

Spent Monday in NYC with Greg. It was his first time visiting the big city! I was really excited to show him around – we went to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, and Greenwich Village. We did tourist things like going to Toys R Us and seeing the tree, followed by a delicious lunch at the restaurant my uncle works at. We even dined a few feet away from Alec Baldwin.. my first celebrity siting ever! We also got to see the practice run of the ball drop. Hope everyone enjoyed their days off!

I’m wearing: Jeans – American Eagle; Thermal – Free People; Scarf – Old Navy

Sweater – Vintage (mom’s closet!); Coat – Michael Kors; Booties – Anne Klein;

This week we got so much snow!! Classes and work were canceled yesterday which was awesome and I had the day off today since observations are over. I got plenty of homework done and then took some time to scope out the snow in the backyard. A lot has already melted away, but it still looks like a beautiful winter wonderland. I layered on my favorite sweatshirt, a long winter coat, and my go-to beanie and explored.

Coat – Michael Kors; Sweatshirt – 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target; Boots – Steve Madden; Beanie – Target
