I’ve been spending a lot of time in Asbury lately, and this past Saturday was no exception. Spotted this killer wall walking to the Stone Pony for a concert and could not resist taking a few pics!

Kimono Mania

Kimono’s are a super hot item to have in your spring/summer wardrobe this season. You can get one anywhere these days – from Forever 21 (where I got mine) to Free People, Topshop, Nasty Gal, etc. The options truly are endless. You can grab a cropped kimono or one that flows down to your ankles. With plenty of colors and patterns to choose from, the kimono is the perfect piece to throw on top of a plain tee/tank and some cut offs to complete a look that says “I didn’t try to look this good.”

Have any of you hopped on the kimono trend?

Literally just realized I didn’t cut off those stupid hanger straps – Please ignore those annoying little things!

Moto Obsessed

If only it were 15 degrees warmer today. I love this look with my new AE moto cropped pants that are already my favorite piece of my spring wardrobe – I wish they came in more colors! Paired with a casual white T and slip on sneaks, it’s the perfect casual/cool. Throw on a moto-inspired jacket to complete the look. Don’t you love the hint of cheetah print when the sleeves are rolled up on this jacket?

Sweat Style

There’s nothing I love more than these quilted/embroidered sweatpants that I picked up on sale from Urban a few months back (I blogged about them here). They’re perfect for early classes, running errands, going to the movies, or hanging around on the weekends. So basically everything. Paired here with my favorite Free People thermal and booties, I’m the epitome of laid-back cool (if I do say so myself).

Happy Sunday!

When my roommate Alyssa came back from winter break she told me she had an “aggressive” gift for me. Then she handed me a cloth bag with these heels inside. When I opened it up and realized she was literally handing me Brian Atwood heels I pretty much just died. How exciting, am I right?? I’m forever grateful to have the pleasure of owning these beautiful shoes. Don’t be fooled by the heel heights – they’re actually not horribly uncomfortable! There’s a decent platform in the front of the shoe. I just need somewhere super cool to wear them. I wanted to rock them last weekend but with all the icy sidewalks it was definitely a no-go. Check out these bad boys below:

Thanks so much Lyss!!

Dress Up

My boyfriend Greg just got the canon rebel and I was finally able to get my hands on it today to take some pictures! I spent over an hour in my backyard taking full advantage of that self-timer. I put together this whimsical dressed-up outfit perfect for this not-to-cold winter day.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Sweater – American Eagle; Skirt – Forever 21; High Socks – Target; Boots – Nine West

I got this knockoff Brian Lichtenberg tshirt off Etsy because honestly who could resist the 15 dollar price tag vs. 60? And honestly, I’m feeling pretty cool in this ensemble. I didn’t specify why kind of shirt I wanted in my etsy order, so I ended up with a unisex large which was entirely too big. I cut off about 5 or 6 inches from the bottom and now it’s the perfect tee. I also broke out my new f21 cut out booties – with thick black socks since it’s so chilly! Paired with my fav skinny cords and a flannel, I’m good to go!
