Asbury

I’ve been spending a lot of time in Asbury lately, and this past Saturday was no exception. Spotted this killer wall walking to the Stone Pony for a concert and could not resist taking a few pics!

Spring Story

With the sun staying out later and the temperatures slowly rising, I’m itching for spring. Transitioning with shorter hemlines, tights, and dark florals is the perfect way to ditch the sweaters and corduroys but still keep those legs covered for chilly mornings.

This sweatshirt-esque top is from Gap. I have it in gray also because it’s perfect in every way. If you can snag it on sale still I am telling you it’ll be the best decision you ever make.

Sunday

My weekend uniform quickly turned into cool joggers and a pullover as soon as Fall started. I have about 5 pairs of joggers on rotation, including these I just picked up on sale from American Eagle. Paired with a quilted Gap pullover that I also have in black (obsessed), this is the perfect weekend look. Errands, hanging with friends, brunch – you name it, joggers are perfect for it.

Reds, Blues, & Birks

How’s everyone’s summer going? I have no excuse (besides summer classes and work) not to post this summer. I let the blog go a little bit the last few months with school coming to an end, graduation, senior activities, the beginning of summer, etc. I recently went on vacation to Cape Cod with my family and it was the greatest week. The weather was beautiful, we ate plenty of seafood and icecream, and spent everyday on the beach. I of course did some shopping while I was there, and thanks to myself and (mostly) my mom, I snagged a couple cute things to add to my ever-growing closet. This unbelievably cool cropped kimono is from a boutique in Provincetown. Once I saw it I had no choice but to walk out of the store with it. The red color is perfection, and the ivory design throughout makes it so interesting to the eye, but the fringe in the front is my favorite part! My mom also graciously bought me my first pair of Birkenstocks. She literally lives in birks – the woman has to have at least six different pairs, probably more. I went with a beautiful navy blue pair with a double strap, one wrapping around the toe. They’re pretty comfy, but I haven’t completely broken them in yet. I’m waiting for the day they’re finally molded to my feet! All the bracelets (except for the gold) were also found a various boutiques in Provincetown. Those I paid for myself, don’t worry. A halter top and boyfriend jeans made this the perfect outfit for a night in town and dinner by the bay. I’ll definitely be repeating this outfit more than once before the summer is over!20140711-095453-35693779.jpg20140711-095453-35693433.jpg

My beautiful mother bought me these kickass topshop slip-ons and AE heart-shaped sunnies today and I love her (even more).
